I obtained my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, followed by a Masters in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Social Work.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a member of the National Association of Social Workers.  I obtained my clinical experience at the Ielease Institute in Pittsburgh (treating perpetrators and victims of crimes), the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Western Psychiatric Hospital (with emphasis in eating disorders and trauma), Family Services of Westmoreland County (group and individual treatment of trauma, anxiety, anger management, relationship issues, sexual assault victims and depression).  I am an experienced domestic violence crisis counselor and a certified grief counselor, along with specialized training and certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and AEDP. As a Navy veteran, I understand military related issues and proudly serve active/retired military and their families.
